Cavan County Council used our composite decking to construct a boardwalk by the lake in Cavan town. One of the main concerns of the Council at the time was that the boardwalk could be under-water at least once a year. They were pleased with the research which shows that our solid composite decking boards do not absorb and retain water like cheaper hollow composite decking boards. Health and safety was also a concern in this public area and BetterDeck composite decking was perfect for the project as it is hard-wearing, highly slip-resistant and not prone to cracking, splitting, rotting or warping.
